Remembrance Service

Marshwood Remembrance Day Ceremony - Sunday 9^th November 2025

Marshwood School have been invited by the local branch of the Royal British Legion to attend the short ceremony of the laying of the wreaths at Marshwood War Memorial on Remembrance Sunday. The school have attended this important occasion in previous years and we would very much like to be part of this service with the community this year also.

During the service children from our school are invited to lay their own class wreaths, with others taking part in a reading. If you and your child/children are able to attend could you kindly drop the school office an email by Monday 3rd November. A parent/adult must stay with your child for this service. Please can we ask that children that are able to attend do so in their school uniform or scout/guide etc uniform if they have attended a service previously. 

The service starts at 12:30pm at Marshwood War Memorial. Please can we ask that if you are able to attend we meet at 12:20pm at Marshwood Garage.
